**Job Summary**
The IT Manager at Amanresorts International Pte Ltd is responsible for the smooth operation of our computer systems, ensuring they meet the company's requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. This role involves supervising the implementation of our computing needs and managing the maintenance of our computer systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the IT function to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Engage with vendors and the IT team to identify, diagnose, and resolve business systems incidents and problems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with technical vendors, business partners, and service providers.
- Ensure service providers meet their service obligations and comply with corporate policy procedures and legal requirements.
- Install and test corporate-approved program changes to the hotel computer system(s).
- Understand and maintain all standards and customized features and functions of the hotel front office systems, point of sale systems, and other systems.
- Perform local systems backup to ensure all critical data is protected and functional.
- Ensure the computer room meets company security specifications for fire protection, temperature control, and power requirements.
- Control user IDs, passwords, and security parameters.
- Establish emergency procedures for when the hotel computer system(s) are inoperable.
- Work closely with the Engineering department to ensure proper maintenance of in-room technology.
- Manage special projects assigned by Management.
- Create training programs and resources to educate staff on IT systems and tools.
- Assist hotel guests with technical requirements and issues.
- Adhere to Corporate IT instructions and provide reports on a timely basis.
- Ensure all critical systems are available 24 hours a day.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to IT.
- Five years' experience in the field.
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Good command of English and Italian, both verbal and written.
- Fluent in a variety of software and hardware programs with recent training and experience.
- Experience with phone systems, Wi-Fi hardware, and daily use of office tools such as printers and AV equipment.
