Role Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Business Development Manager with a robust background in IT distribution and proven experience in managing vendor relationships. This pivotal role is essential for optimizing and expanding our vendor partnerships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Assess market trends, industry activities, and customer insights to shape business strategies.
  • Generate regular reports detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and business development outcomes.
  • Evaluate sales and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong, enduring relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard new vendors to broaden our product offerings and meet market needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for key vendor accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Contract and Performance Management:

  • Negotiate vendor agreements, pricing, and terms to secure advantageous conditions for the organization.
  • Oversee contract compliance and manage renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Monitor vendor performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including category management, procurement, sales, marketing, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless integration of vendor products and services.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure swift resolution of product or service-related challenges to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, category management, business development, sales, or a related field within the IT distribution sector.
  • A proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, solutions, and the distribution landscape.
  • Full business proficiency in English.
