Job Responsibilities

  • Propel sales expansion by targeting new and strategically significant clients and prospects, particularly System Integrators and OEMs within the Industry sector.
  • Act as the representative for Danfoss Drives in the Industry domain, monitoring and influencing both short-term and long-term trends, while leading product and solution offerings and strategies.
  • Serve as the industry spokesperson, providing coaching, guidance, and support to sales teams in identifying new growth avenues.
  • Enhance Danfoss's visibility by educating and training the market, engaging with industry trade associations, participating in exhibitions, and producing white papers and marketing materials.
  • Cultivate and disseminate application knowledge and best practices throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions, ensuring effective communication with marketing resources aligned with market needs and Danfoss's strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate a two-way information exchange between the market, sales teams, and global teams as required.
  • Analyze the industry sector to determine the most effective approach, keeping abreast of customer needs, market trends, competitive strategies, and activities.
  • Implement a push and pull strategy in close collaboration with the sales team within the industry sector.
  • Conduct reporting and data analysis related to sales activities and Market Intelligence.
  • Utilize Danfoss's tools and foster relationships with internal stakeholders such as Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Technical Support to select and propose the most competitive Danfoss solutions.
  • Support sales strategies to achieve budgetary goals.

Background & Skills

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with knowledge in drives, electric motors, and automation being advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of experience in mid-sized multinational companies in a similar role with expertise in the relevant market.
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills with a clear focus on goals.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experienced in delivering presentations to large audiences.
  • Customer-focused with a growth-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a results-driven approach, emphasizing teamwork.
  • Global perspective and outstanding oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with all organizational levels.
