About the Role:

The Sales Director will be responsible for leading a team of Enterprise Account Executives in Italy, driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, with experience in managing high-performing teams and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, manage, and develop strong sales talent, driving individual AE success and fostering a great team spirit.
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory with great control and forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets through landing new logos and expanding our customer base in the assigned segment/industry.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships for strong executive alignment and proactive account management.
  • Support the team to partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to drive incremental revenue growth.
  • Effectively communicate the Celonis industry-specific value proposition through proposals and presentations and enable the team to do the same with high quality and deep domain knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working with Partners, i.e., Consulting firms and Enterprise Tech.
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, ever-changing, high-growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to be collaborative, inclusive, embrace diversity, and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working autonomously, managing your own time and priorities to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to leverage internal resources and work as a team.
