Service Readiness Engineer

Job Overview

Role Summary:

As a Service Readiness Engineer, you will act as a key liaison for the Worldwide service team within the Enterprise Informatics (EI) division. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing comprehensive testing and validation plans essential for supporting commercialization initiatives.
  • Coordinating and validating global service strategies and actions with the international service community throughout the product lifecycle post-commercial release.
  • Collaborating closely with the Service Readiness Lead to consistently evaluate new programs and software versions, ensuring all service delivery prerequisites, resources, and training needs are met.
  • Assisting in the enhancement and maintenance of the Customer Support Product Plan (CSPP).
  • Defining training requirements for assigned products or programs.
  • Collecting and refining product serviceability insights to inform future program needs.
  • Developing and reviewing key commercialization deliverables, including service documentation, customer guides, and training materials.
  • Validating software releases through the Field Change Order (FCO) process.
  • Overseeing the First of Kind (FOK) installations as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and providing constructive feedback to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implementing enhancement opportunities based on service feedback related to customer experience, product performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Serving as a certified SME for third-party software and solutions.
  • Ensuring service readiness for new platform service deliverables.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a University Degree or Master’s Degree in IT, a technical field, or a related discipline.
  • Possesses 1-3 years of experience in Service or Technical engineering, preferably in radiology informatics.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibits a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Displays adaptability and a positive attitude towards change.
  • Proficient in English and Italian as a local language.
