**About the Role**

Leonardo, a global industrial leader in the aerospace, defense, and security sectors, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Head of EEE Engineering. As a key member of the Space Business Area, you will be responsible for coordinating technical activities related to the identification, selection, and utilization of electronic components for space applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Define and maintain the company's PPL (Product Part List) and standard component lists
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage components on stock
  • Monitor the market and qualified component lists (ESA EPPL, MIL QPL) to identify new components and eliminate or replace obsolete ones
  • Work with suppliers or their representatives to develop or qualify new components
  • Analyze program requirements and define effective procurement and screening processes for electronic components
  • Organize and manage quality assurance activities for components (DCL, PAD, PSP, TRS)
  • Manage COTS/LOWER GRADE components
  • Participate in technical specialist meetings (Parts Control Board)

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Senior-level experience (5-10 years) in a similar role
  • Technical skills:
    • Experience in designing HW for high-reliability applications
    • Knowledge of international regulatory systems applicable to component management (ESCC/MIL)
    • Knowledge of processes and technologies for designing, building, packaging, and mounting electronic components
  • Soft skills:
    • Team building

  • Languages:
    • English (B2 level minimum)
  • Computer skills:
    • Document management tools: MS Office and ReqTracer/Doors
