Intern Digital Communications

We are looking for a motivated person to join our International Communications Team for an Internship in Social Media & Digital Communication. If you have a passion for Communication, Digital Marketing and strong project management skills, and if you are willing to collaborate with international stakeholders as well as within an international team, we are looking for you  You will be based in Milan, reporting to the Sr Manager Digital Communications International, and cooperating closely with the Digital Communications Lead EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) who will also be your mentor. Internship details:

•    Start date: February 2026

•    Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend for another 6 months

•    Working hours: 40 hours per week

•    Working model: hybrid

•    Location: Milan, Italy

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

-Day to day content management of the Medtronic Corporate digital channels (websites, LinkedIn and our employee engagement tool), with a focus on EMEA

-Creating or management of creation of engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts and coordination of its distribution by networking with key stakeholders in the country (local Communications, Human Resources and many more)

-Setting up and implementation of Digital Corp Marketing campaigns (organic and paid) in line with regional and local communication strategies

-Providing input and guidance on the creation of compelling content for our Digital channels

-Organizing and managing community building events and boosting brand awareness

-Staying up-to-date with digital technology trends

-Cooperating closely and actively with the rest of the International Digital Communications Team

Required Knowledge:

-Recently graduated or in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree in Digital Communications, Digital Marketing or similar

-Fluent in English

-Familiar with content management systems  as well as web monitoring and analytics tools. Familiar with content creation and storytelling for Social Media

-Ability to collaborate cross-team and comfortable in an international, multicultural environment

-Strong project management skills, focusing on needs of our stakeholders, paying attention to requests and timings

-Active on relevant Social Media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram)

-Passion for learning and developing yourself

Would be a plus: 

-Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position or internship

-Additional European language skills
