Job Description

The overall target of the position:

Join our global IT operations team as an IT Field Support specialist based in Milano with occasional support of our Bolzano office. From troubleshooting IT issues to managing network infrastructure and hardware, your expertise will keep our offices running smoothly.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You provide hands-on support for IT-related queries and issues at our Milano and Bolzano offices
  • You closely collaborate with our external support provider (incl. directing people to opening tickets)
  • You administer the local network infrastructure and oversee local hardware, including laptops, work stations, printers, mobile phones etc.
  • You set up the work station and other hardware and manage them for the offices in Milano and Bolzano
  • You travel approx. 3-4 days per month to the Bolzano office
  • You cooperate with all other HZI locations with focus on global IT processes

Qualifications

  • You have 2+ years' experience as IT support, with demonstrated hands-on experience
  • You have good understanding of network infrastructure and office hardware
  • You are physically able to set up and mount hardware in the office
  • You are proficient in IT support business processes and collaboration with external support providers
  • You are fluent in English and Italian
  • You are customer-centric with a proactive and autonomous work approach
