We help businesses grow faster, operate efficiently, and transform in a dynamic

market. We are looking for Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Italy.

As a Customer Sales Specialist- Microsoft at Arrow, you will be designated to a specific vendor and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships as well as identifying future opportunities within the business.

Your responsibilities:

  •  Act as the link between sales team and different counterparts and may need to join customer and supplier visits 
  • Research and disseminate information on potential customers, supplier related activities, cost, and schedule of designated project with local team 
  • Use of Arrow marketplace ArrowSphere for selling cloud solutions, in particular Microsoft solutions
  • Evaluate opportunities, develop penetration plan, and provide direction to Arrow teams.
  • Systematically manage own assigned portfolio by taking proactive and regular actions related to sales and the administration of the account.
  • Identify pipeline potential strategic global customers for incremental business beyond design transfers 
  • Develop, coordinate, and follow up strategies for smooth transitions 
  • May manage customer quotes activities in line with customer specific strategies, quoting processes, and order management 
  • Identifying new sales opportunities by working with buyers and engineers to provide quotes, technical support, and data sheets, and by placing purchase orders. 

What we are looking for: 

  • At least 1 yearâ experience in a similar role 
  • Business fluency in Italian and in English 
  • Comfortable in working both independently and as a team member. 
  • Proactive and flexible, take responsibility for your duties, can work also under pressure, understand how details affect the big picture and show positive can-do attitude. 
  • Teamwork and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to learn quickly new processes and tools. 
  • Accuracy is necessary in this position. 
  • Technical or commercial education and working experience in sales back office or operations are preferred. 
  • Technology enthusiast, solid knowledge of IT landscape and current technologies
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication, problem solving, diplomacy and influencing skills
