Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:

We are looking for
NOC Accreditation Coordinator.

The identified resource will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate the accreditation process NOC populations for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
  • Identify, register, and issue accreditation members of NOC populations, composed of Athletes, Coaches, Officials and other delegation members.
  • Development and implementation of accreditation policies for NOC populations in accordance with the Olympic Charter, the IOC and IPC guidelines, and the Host City Contract.
  • Direct and manage a team of NOC Accreditation Specialists and volunteers.
  • Liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient accreditation process prior to and during the Games.
  • Coordinate the accreditation process across the dedicated venues, mainly from the Athlete's Village(s).
  • Support the wider accreditation team and Games Family Senior Manager with relevant projects such as quotas, transferable accreditation, Guest Passes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Indepth knowledge of the Olympic and Paralympic accreditation process, service levels and specificities of this category.
  • Accreditation experience at a coordinator level in at least one other global multisport event.
  • Proven project, risk and business management skills, and a working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Proven ability to manage a multilayered project independently and take ownership of operations and procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills and database management desired.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage high workload via effective time management and use of resources
  • Highly numerate, good IT (Information Technology) skills, detailconscious and wellorganised
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • English (full professional proficiency), Spanish, French is desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of accreditation systems and database management.
