We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Italy.
As a Customer Sales Specialist- Microsoft at Arrow, you will be designated to a specific vendor and responsible for developing and maintaining relationships, as well as identifying future opportunities within the business.
Your responsibilities: Act as the link between the sales team and different counterparts, and may need to join customer and supplier visits.
Research and disseminate information on potential customers, supplier related activities, cost, and schedule of designated projects with the local team.
Utilize Arrow marketplace ArrowSphere for selling cloud solutions, particularly Microsoft solutions.
Evaluate opportunities, develop penetration plans, and provide direction to Arrow teams.
Systematically manage your assigned portfolio by taking proactive and regular actions related to sales and account administration.
Identify pipeline potential strategic global customers for incremental business beyond design transfers.
Develop, coordinate, and follow up strategies for smooth transitions.
Manage customer quotes activities in line with customer-specific strategies, quoting processes, and order management.
Identify new sales opportunities by working with buyers and engineers to provide quotes, technical support, and data sheets, and by placing purchase orders.
What we are looking for: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Business fluency in Italian and English.
Comfortable working both independently and as a team member.
Proactive and flexible, taking responsibility for your duties, able to work under pressure, understanding how details affect the big picture, and showing a positive can-do attitude.
Teamwork and organizational skills.
Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.
Accuracy is necessary in this position.
Technical or commercial education and working experience in sales back office or operations are preferred.
Technology enthusiast with solid knowledge of the IT landscape and current technologies.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication, problem-solving, diplomacy, and influencing skills.
