**Job description**
The Sales Strategy and Business Operations organization is a critical function within Salesforce.
We focus on delivering high quality and continued value to Sales and our Customers as a trusted Business Partner.
Sales Strategy and Business Operations orchestrates the collaboration across all business segments to drive and accelerate the exponential growth of Salesforce across the Southern region, enables operational excellence running the business in a sustainable manner and stewarding business transformation and innovation.
The Manager of Sales Strategy & Business Operations will be accountable for driving the continued success of Salesforce across different Market Segments.
This person will act as trusted advisor to the Sales Leadership Team.
- Being a strategic Partner to the Italy Sales Leadership Team to track and assess the business under a rigorous data-driven approach
- Defining and Owning the governance across each fiscal year to support the Go To Market Strategy (Segmentation, Business Planning, Headcount Allocation, Territory Carving and Quota Allocation)
- Delivering projects to improve the business in the long-term such as new business growth, new distribution channels, operational playbooks, etc.
- The role will report into the Director Sales Strategy and will be based out of the Milan or Rome office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive the GTM Strategy, working cross-functionally (Sales Development, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment, Employee Success), to accelerate the exponential growth.
- Define Go To Market Strategy and Organizational Design
- Territory Design, Resourcing and Capacity Planning
- Regional Planning across Business Units
- Account Potential including Quota Setting
- Act as trusted advisor to the Sales Leadership Team to develop a comprehensive quarterly and yearly Sales governance cadence and execution plan, including actions needed to realize growth objectives
- Analyze the health of the business based on key performance metrics and present recommendations to senior leadership.
Drive root cause analysis and design recovery strategies
- Orchestrate regular Business Reviews and continuously re-evaluate priorities and focus areas
- Own regular business reporting and communication cadence with senior sales leaders
- Increase sales productivity and performance through KPI measurement
- Build executive presentations, crafting the messages of Sales Senior Leadership
- Work cross-functionally to drive the execution of go-to-market strategies
**Desired Skills/Experience**:
- Strong relevant experience in a top strategic consulting firm, sales strategy, business operations and/or sales
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, originate new solutions/ approaches and develop recommendations
- Strong communication skills to translate results into easily digestible messages and executive presentations
- Ability to work cross-functionally and exert influence without necessarily authority
- Executive presence and interpersonal skills; ability to drive adoption
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
- Assertiveness, directness, and a "company first" mentality
- High Energy, autonomy and resilience with a "Get it done" Attitude
- Facility with financial modeling and tools such as Google Slide, Worksheet, etc.
- Bachelor Degree in analytics field (Finance, Technology, Engineering, Business), MBA is a plus.
