Role purpose:The ideal profile has an excellent knowledge of an IT organization, procurement processes and of all the services that can be purchased from an IT Supplier.
The candidate must also have very good negotiation skills and a consolidated knowledge of IT services contract sctructure.
Part of the Digital&IT organization, direct report to the Head of Digital&IT Strategy & Governance, the resource will be in charge for the coordination of the Vendor Management and Productivity Office team.
The resource will be the point of contact for every topic related to the relationship with IT Suppliers.
He/She will be responsible for all the tender processes, contractual negotiations and to guarantee that all the KPI and SLA included in the contract will be met.
Working in close relation with the Procurement Office of Vodafone Italia and with the central teams of Vodafone Group , the resource will be directly involved in all the tenders with a key role in the evaluation of all the bidders and the selection of the award.
He/She will be in charge for for the definition of the Vendor Stategy, aligned with the goals of the entire Digital&IT area.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:• Be the point of contact for all the escalations, both internal and external, related to IT Suppliers relationship• Coordination of the tender process, being the nesting point between the Supplier, the Procurement office and Vodafone Group central team• Vendor Strategy definitio• Being responsible for all the negotiation related to IT contract and to IT ad hoc initiatives• Coordination of Vendor Management and Productivity Office team Core competencies, knowledge and experience:• 3 or more years of experience in a management role in IT Governance area• Ability to be multitasking, excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.• English professional proficiency• Excellent relational skill• Excellent negotiation skill• Knowledge of contract structure and of tender processes of IT Department• Knowledge of IT services main KPIs definition and way of measurementMust have and Studies:• Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint• Enginering or Economics master degreeWho we areYou may have already heard of Vodafone - We're a leading Telecommunications company in Europe and Africa.
