About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to serve as a strategic partner for the Business leadership to optimize inventory management and minimize costs. The role will be responsible for the execution of globally deployed Reporting & Analytics and standard processes, with day-to-day interactions with key stakeholders and business leaders.

About the Team/Department:

This role will be part of the Europe Global Supply Chain hub, focusing on inventory management and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory reporting strategies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to drive inventory-related initiatives and optimize inventory levels.
  • Prepare and present EMEA Inventory & Working Capital reviews to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOAR, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and stock counts.

Obsolescence Management:

  • Enhance tracking of write-offs with root cause analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Support End of Life management in Europe and drive obsolescence depletion in collaboration with BIMs / Supply Planning / Business.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to avoid write-offs and optimize production planning.
  • Harmonize and standardize Inventory reserve updates across EMEA.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Inventory Management Policy.
  • Lead reviews with key stakeholders and present to management.
  • Lead month-end closing for Sub-Saharan entities, ensuring accurate cost recording, book provisions, and account reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of finance experience in FP&A or cost accounting roles, preferably with international exposure.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, BPC.
  • Mobility is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
