About the Role

The Sales Engineer is a key member of the Freudenberg team, responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster the technical and commercial development of existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop new business opportunities in relevant markets, building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to plan, prepare, and execute strategic agreements, ensuring successful sales cycles and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer reporting and quotations using the company's CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Provide technical support to area colleagues, focusing on GBT customers and ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Sales support to customers, aligning with work criteria defined in agreement with the supervisor and relevant Sales Manager.
  • Act as a connection role for development projects, linking areas of competence with colleagues in the parent company and technical contacts at customers.

Requirements

  • Diploma in a technical field (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive, Energy).
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English (B1 level).
  • Possession of a B driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory of Italy and occasionally abroad.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong motivation and aptitude for sales, team working, and long-term orientation.
  • Knowledge of major mechanical components and their applications in the industrial world (Bearings, gearboxes, etc.).
  • Advanced, proven knowledge of the office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Solid technical background and/or practical experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Residency in the Piedmont region.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Italian markets related to Automotive, Bearings, and Wood Panel Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of German language.
