Overview

Kyndryl is in search of a dedicated Topic Leader for Offensive Security, focusing on Mainframe and Cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This position is pivotal as the primary contact and expert within a global team committed to securing and assessing intricate computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all issues concerning Mainframe and Cloud Security within the global offensive security team. Ensure effective communication with team members across various regions, offering guidance and support on intricate security challenges and attack methodologies.
  • Standards and Procedure Development: Create, document, and maintain thorough standards and procedures for the protection of Mainframe and Cloud environments. Guarantee that these documents reflect the latest security practices and technologies.
  • Vulnerability Research: Actively seek out and investigate new vulnerabilities in Mainframe and Cloud platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and external security communities to share insights and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Conference Representation: Represent Kyndryl at various security conferences as a thought leader. Share findings, impart knowledge, and engage with the security community on subjects related to Mainframe and Cloud security.
  • Training and Mentorship: Organize and lead training sessions for the internal offensive security team to enhance their skills and understanding of Mainframe and Cloud security. Serve as a mentor for team members, aiding in the development of their technical and tactical capabilities.
  • Consultation: Offer expert advice and support to team members on complex attack strategies and security challenges. Assist in planning and executing simulated attacks to evaluate and strengthen our defenses.

Who You Are

Qualifications

  • Required Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), OSEP (Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester), OSED (Offensive Security Exploit Developer).
  • Preferred Certification: OSCE3 (Offensive Security Certified Expert 3).
  • Education: A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in offensive security, particularly with Mainframe and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Proven ability to identify and mitigate complex security vulnerabilities. Previous experience speaking at security conferences and leading educational sessions.
  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and profound technical expertise in cybersecurity. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
