Sales Manager Role
NTT DATA is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Italian Sales Team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Client Managers and driving sales growth through effective sales strategies and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- Define sales targets and objectives for the Client Managers and provide coaching to ensure achievement.
- Ensure sales procedures and policies are implemented and followed.
- Drive alignment to sales and organizational strategies through operational planning and process improvement.
- Engage in account planning and assist Client Managers in opportunity qualification for large or complex deals.
- Collaborate with the account team to leverage NTT DATA capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
- Act as a coach and advisor to the Client Managers and Sales Team to set and achieve priority activities.
- Take final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales systems, sales reports, and sales forecast.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
- Extended relevant experience in similar roles within the ICT Market (preferred system integration business).
- Strong experience in managing and coaching a sales team.
- Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision makers.
- Able to work in a multinational environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Business acumen.
- Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
