About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our R&D team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring clear and continuous updates on plans and execution of digital activities across R&D, as well as delivering project management support to the R&D Digital Coordination Team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage project activities supporting R&D Digital Coordination Team and digital activities across R&D, ensuring alignment on project management best practices.
  • Ensure that the Head of R&D and PPM digital strategy & execution support is in full control of R&D digital initiatives timelines, spending, and effort.
  • Support the implementation of prioritized R&D digital solutions in line with the R&D digital transformation roadmap.
  • Identify and cascade new tools and processes that will enable speed, agility, and adoption of new technical insights.
  • Assist and support efforts in digital innovation development capabilities and optimize business processes through technical solutions.
  • Support all PPM departments on PPM system applications management and evolution.
  • Consolidate the digital network with internal experts and partners.
  • Support the achievement of common project goals through effective communication across functions and relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote business agility and the development of lean processes and tools to ensure that projects are executed effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medtech industry experience and a minimum of 5+ years in project management supporting R&D/development of tech solutions or relevant similar experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Scientific Area relevant for Pharma R&D. Advanced degree preferred, MS or MBA.
  • English fluent.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharma research and development and thorough understanding of the tasks required across different stages of drug development.
  • A strong understanding of the people, processes, and infrastructure involved across the pharmaceutical drug development and new product development lifecycle.
  • Relevant experience in project management in new product development area.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects a significant plus.
  • PMI PMP or equivalent qualification as a significant plus.
