About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Partnership Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for developing and promoting APN (AWS Partner Network) partners in specific technology areas to AWS customers and sellers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead AWS Partnerships: Work with cross-functional teams to create and execute strategic business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and marketing, to execute achievement against partner goals.
  • Drive Partner Sales Revenue: Regularly review pipeline, opportunity registration, and business plans with partners to manage progress against business objectives and core KPIs.
  • Evangelize Partner Value Proposition: Internally promote a partner's value proposition throughout AWS and externally with customers.
  • Drive Solutions and APN Program Attainment: Continuously enable partners through training and certifications and develop go-to-market strategies for differentiation and expanding their footprint.
  • Proactively Identify and Acquire Strategic Partners: Manage existing partners and identify, acquire, influence, and negotiate with new strategic partners.
  • Manage Partner Operations: Set up administration and governance within partners, manage revenue reporting, opportunity registration in the APN, and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Extensive IT Partner Management Experience: Proven track record of building and driving complex multi-year partnerships with diverse channel partners.
  • Technology-Related Sales/Channel/Business Development Experience: Demonstrated success with sales/channel teams and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Matrix Operating Structure Experience: Consistently exceeded expectations against defined goals and objectives in matrix operating structures.
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud and IT Technologies: Familiarity with AWS platform, products, solutions, and capabilities.
  • Broad Partner Network: Experience working with large and complex consulting partners, Telco, Global System Integrators, or distributors.
  • Enterprise Solution Sales Experience: Master's Degree and experience working with AWS.
