Job Summary

As a Category Manager with a focus on Cloud solutions, you will play a key role in supporting the business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure best-in-class data integrity, system tools, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support End-to-End Product and Vendor Lifecycle Management: Ensure system accuracy and product adoption and creation in our systems.
  • Support Vendor Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with the profit team around exception and corrective management.
  • Manage Ship and Debit Process: Work with the central team in Barcelona to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Team: Support provision management and stock allocation.
  • Work with Business Intelligence: Produce sales out and stock reports and determine appropriate execution plans based on findings.
  • Achieve Quarterly Gross Profit Targets: Meet absolute and percentage quality targets.
  • Hold Operational Relationship with Vendors: Discuss future products, forecasting, and planning processes, and product sell-out.
  • Support Automation and Process Improvement: Work on integrated end-to-end processes.
  • Input into and Execution of Business Plan: Collaborate with vendor business leads.
  • Support Sales Floor: Provide pricing, ship and debit, and general product queries and order management support.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or high school diploma in a business-related subject is desirable.
  • Commercial/Product Experience: Commercial or product experience, preferably in a technology business.
  • Distribution or Vendor Experience: Advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Product and Technology Portfolio: Essential.
  • IT Industry Knowledge: Channel, vendors, programs, and competition knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse: Advantageous.
  • E-business Systems: Familiarity with e-business systems.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with English as a mandatory language.
  • Numeracy: Highly numerate.
  • Time Management and Prioritizing Skills: Essential.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills: Required.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook: Essential.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus.
  • Initiative: Ability to take initiative.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Essential.
