**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our European sales region for SolarEdge's Energy Storage Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C&I and/or Utility scale ESS or energy sales, with excellent client relationship management skills and negotiation expertise.

**Job Summary**

The Sales Director will be responsible for originating and developing sales opportunities for SolarEdge's Energy Storage Division, focusing on the sales of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to existing and new customers in central Europe. This role requires leadership, motivation, and communication skills to drive regional sales performance and develop business development activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Leadership & Motivation: Lead a high-performing team, motivate regional sales teams to excel, manage complex customer situations, and communicate performance to senior leaders.
  • Problem Solving: Support ESD sales, technical, and commercial outcomes with innovative solutions that grow the business by delivering solid outcomes for customers.
  • Planning & Strategy: Prepare regional development plans, implement strategies, and work across teams to deliver on business objectives.
  • Business & Sales: Manage sales cycles for repeat business, hunt for new sales opportunities, negotiate with insight, challenge established project uncertainty, and drive customer decision-making.
  • Customer Interactions: Deliver sales volume by securing POs, support escalation, champion customers internally, and focus on growth through ongoing development of ESD growth strategy and business model.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering or Business/Commerce.
  • 5+ years of experience in C&I and/or Utility scale ESS or energy sales, with a proven track record in sales & business development of complex products & services.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, including negotiating PO terms/contracts and effective reporting & performance tracking.

**Salary**

€80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
