After Sales Engineer

We are seeking a skilled After Sales Engineer to provide technical support to maintenance activities on Railway Signalling Systems operated by Alstom domestic and international Customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and experience in technical assistance roles.
The position will be part of the Services Signalling Business Unit Organization - Maintenance and Technical Assistance team.
Responsibilities:
- System performance monitoring
- Execution and supervision of HW and SW system upgrade
- Technical expertise with product engineering in case of unknown bug or unknown behaviour
- Providing Customer feedback in order to improve products and meet Customer's needs
- Providing training to Customer maintenance staff
- Definition and implementation of Maintenance and technical assistance plans
- Coordination and support to maintenance technicians on field
- Providing support to Service organization in the definition of maintenance strategy in tenders and offers
- Cooperation with product engineering in the definition of maintainability requirements during the product's design phase
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least two years of experience on Electronic/Electromechanical company as on site or remote technical assistance
- Excellent level of Italian and good level of English
