The estimated annual salary for this position in Italy is approximately €120,000 - €150,000.

Job Description

This role involves strategically managing, leading, and coordinating multiple Professional Scientific Services (PSS) teams and their on-site leaders to ensure that our teams, located at our clients' sites, operate at the highest quality and productivity standards. As the primary point of contact for our clients from an operational management perspective, you will be responsible for linking with Senior Management in Italy and their peers across Europe.

You will actively participate in business development activities for existing and new businesses, driving growth across the scope of Italy. This position combines strategic planning, managing operational excellence, client relationship management, and leadership using HR best practices. The role requires frequent traveling (60-70% of working time).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple PSS teams and their on-site leaders to achieve high-quality and productivity standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from an operational management perspective.
  • Link with Senior Management in Italy and their peers across Europe.
  • Participate in business development activities for existing and new businesses.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a related scientific discipline (life science, engineering, quality...)
  • At least 5 years of operational experience with management responsibilities.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English.
