Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Solutions Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales Commercial Lab Organization, you will be responsible for achieving product sales targets within assigned territories and collaborating with other company functions to obtain maximum customer loyalty and satisfaction.



Your Key Responsibilities:



  • You will work proactively with the project team of Territory Sales, Marketing, Project Management and HCS to identify business prospects and opportunities, proposing specific solutions for customers.
  • You will manage the analysis of workflows in clinical laboratories, develop projects using VSM and design new layouts using CAD/Visio and 3D layout tools.
  • You will leverage the technology of our product portfolio to present innovative solutions and projects, including Automation, AI, Digital IT, Business Intelligence and Robotics.
  • You will establish networks with laboratory managers and industry reference KOLs.
  • You will produce detailed reports on project progress based on agreed frequencies with company functions involved.
  • You will contribute to the preparation of tenders and the formulation of offers.
  • You will be available to travel in assigned territories and support other territories as needed.


Your Expertise:


To succeed in this role, you will require strong sales orientation, experience gained in public and private laboratories, knowledge of laboratory IT solutions, and previous experience in a similar role. Additionally, you should have skills in workflow analysis and simulation, layout (CAD, Visio, 3D modeling), software skills (MS Office tools) and primary IT concepts, strong presentation skills to present workflow analyses and projects creatively, excellent English language skills, and Lean and Six Sigma experience is highly preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Computer Science or Engineering or a related field is required.
