About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Managed Service Engineer L3 to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality operational services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex network issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
  • Collaborate with customer's Network Operations team and Network Projects team to ensure seamless network services.
  • Act as a senior network engineer, providing technical expertise and support to the customer's organization.
  • Investigate third-line support calls, identify root causes, and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors when necessary.
  • Provide continuous feedback to customers and affected parties, updating all systems and portals as defined in service procedures and processes.
  • Communicate with other teams to extend support and execute changes to infrastructure with clear identification of risks and mitigations.
  • Monitor customer infrastructure, identify opportunities for work optimization, and produce trend analysis tickets reports.
Requirements
  • IT educational background.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium/high complex infrastructure.
  • Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP). Other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware) are a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.
  • Able to maintain a positive outlook at work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving approach.
  • Strong customer-oriented attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus).
  • Available to travel abroad when required by the customer.
  • Available to be part of on-duty scheduling plan.
