Your role at NTT DATA

You will be an integral member of a skilled and collaborative NTT team, contributing to a vital and strategic customer journey in IT.
Based in Milan, the NTT team will work closely with the customer's IT department both locally and globally, concentrating on Network and Network Security infrastructure.
As part of this initiative, you will have the chance to join NTT, a leader in Network Managed Services, while collaborating with a multinational company renowned in the eyewear and eye care sector, enhancing your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

As a Network Managed Service Engineer L3, you will work alongside the customer's Network Operations team (L1 team) and the Network Projects team to ensure seamless network services across the entire IT Network customer environment (Data Centers, Cloud, retail locations, offices, branches).

You will assume a senior network engineer position within the NTT team dedicated to delivering high-quality operational services to the customer's organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing complex support tickets; Performing advanced troubleshooting tasks; Assisting in the analysis, assignment, and escalation of support calls; Investigating third-line support calls and determining the root cause of incidents and issues; Escalating problems to third-party vendors when necessary; Capturing all relevant information for immediate resolution; Providing ongoing feedback to customers and affected parties, updating all systems and portals as outlined in service procedures; Collaborating with other teams to extend support; Executing and supporting infrastructure changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations; Monitoring customer infrastructure; Identifying opportunities for operational optimization; Producing trend analysis reports on support tickets. A background in IT education; A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Operations environment with medium to high complexity; Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP). Additional certifications from major vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, VMware) are advantageous; Strong communication skills and the ability to work across diverse cultures and social groups; A positive attitude in the workplace; Adaptability to changing circumstances; Capability to work in a virtual and hybrid team; Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; A strong customer-oriented mindset; Proficiency in Italian and English (French is a plus); Willingness to travel abroad when required; Availability to participate in on-call scheduling.
