About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Managed Service Engineer L3 to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality operational services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex network tickets and conduct advanced troubleshooting tasks
  • Collaborate with customer's Network Operations team and Network Projects team to ensure seamless network services
  • Act as a senior network engineer in NTT team, delivering high-quality operational services to the customer's organization
  • Investigate third-line support calls, identify root causes of incidents and problems, and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors when necessary
  • Provide continuous feedback to customers and affected parties, and update all systems and portals as defined in service procedures and processes
  • Communicate with other teams for extended support, execute and support changes to infrastructure with clear identification of risks and mitigations, and monitor customer infrastructure
  • Identify opportunities for work optimization and produce trend analysis tickets reports

Requirements

  • IT educational background
  • At least 5 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium/high complex infrastructure
  • Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP) - other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware) are a plus
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups
  • Able to maintain a positive outlook at work, adapt to changing circumstances, and work in a virtual and hybrid team
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving approach, strong customer-oriented attitude, and good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus)
  • Available to travel abroad when required by customer and available to be part of on-duty scheduling plan
