Your role at NTT DATA

As a member of a highly skilled and collaborative NTT team, you will contribute to a significant and strategic IT initiative for our client.
Based in Milan, the NTT team will work closely with the client's IT department both locally and globally, concentrating on Network and Network Security infrastructure.
You will engage in an IT environment primarily centered around technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, VMware Velocloud, and Riverbed.

Key Responsibilities

As a Network Managed Service Engineer L3, you will work alongside the customer's Network Operations team (L1 team) and the Network Projects team to ensure seamless network services across the entire IT network environment (data centers, cloud, retail locations, offices, branches).

You will take on a senior network engineer role within the NTT team, dedicated to delivering exceptional operational services to the client's organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing complex support tickets; Conducting advanced troubleshooting tasks; Assisting in the analysis, assignment, and escalation of support requests; Investigating third-line support issues and identifying root causes of incidents and problems; Escalating issues to third-party vendors when necessary; Capturing all relevant information for immediate resolution; Providing ongoing feedback to the client and affected parties, updating all systems and portals as per service procedures; Collaborating with other teams to extend support; Executing and supporting infrastructure changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations; Monitoring the client's infrastructure; Identifying opportunities for process optimization; Producing trend analysis reports on support tickets. Possessing an IT educational background; Having at least 5 years of experience in a Network Operations environment with medium to high complexity; Holding Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP), with additional certifications from major vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, VMware) being advantageous; Demonstrating the ability to communicate and collaborate across diverse cultures and social groups; Maintaining a positive outlook in the workplace; Adapting to changing circumstances; Working effectively in a virtual and hybrid team; Exhibiting strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; Showing a strong customer-oriented attitude; Having good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus); Being available for international travel as required by the client; Being open to participating in on-call scheduling.
