We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Italian Sales Company as General Manager. Reporting to the General Manager Europe, this role will be responsible for driving all aspects of customer, operational, and financial performance of the sales company, ensuring that planned targets for sales, profit, and margin growth are achieved in an inclusive and purpose-driven environment.
Key Accountabilities- Full P&L and commercial responsibility for the Italian market, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting;
- Manage large innovative international company projects related to growing the business;
- Continuing embedding and driving the successful local implementation of key customer initiatives;
- Developing and delivering comprehensive annual and long-term business plans for Italy overall and for each of the sub-P&L's of the business (OEM, Resellers, End Users, Services);
- Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and growth;
- Strong strategic thinking competences, with the ability to challenge the status quo and the tenacity to execute.
We are looking for a strong communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire their team, and collaborate across functions and cultures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with strategic thinking, able to think creatively and laterally, and challenge the status quo. They will also have the resilience to cope well with setbacks and pressure, and productively handle resistance. With a 'can do' attitude, execution capacity, and tenacity to see things through, they will have been key attributes to the success of the position so far. They will be able to build, lead, develop, and inspire teams, using coaching, mentoring, and motivating techniques.
