Sales Director

Moody's is a global leader in integrated risk assessment, empowering organizations to make informed decisions. We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Sales Director.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a strong understanding of the government and public sector. They will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle process, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities, and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive the sales process.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the sales process from prospecting to closure
- Working closely with product specialists and other client-facing professionals to ensure complete client coverage
- Providing current forecasts and pipeline information to management
- Meeting established revenue targets and creating new and enhanced customer relationships
- Generating new revenue from research, product, and service solutions
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in a sales role within a software or services organization. They will also have a strong understanding of quantitative credit models and risk analysis, as well as the ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.
Fluency in Italian and English is essential for this role, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment is also required.
