At Emd, we are passionate about innovating with science and technology to enrich people's lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Life Science business team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to develop sales in the assigned territory (Piemonte, Liguria and Valle D'Aosta) by building trusted relationships with our customers and actively searching for new sales opportunities for our LS products. As an Account Manager for Life Science, you will use all available tools and resources to track and report sales activity and share account knowledge, exceeding sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Track and report sales activity and share account knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A scientific degree or PhD with experience of relevant techniques
  • Good communication and presentation skills in Italian and English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong motivation to pursue a career in the sales area
  • Proficient use of standard office computer applications
  • Availability for daily travel and any necessary overnight stays required to reach customer sites throughout the assigned area
  • Stable residence in the assigned area
