Italian Market Development Manager

This exciting opportunity is available at Michael Page International Italia S.r.l., a renowned company operating in the field of design home accessories. As a Country Sales Manager, you will lead and execute the strategy of expansion and growth in the Italian market, maximizing profitability and brand positioning in line with the global objectives of the Company.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, open new customers and distribution channels, and execute strategic projects, especially in the contract and lighting sector.
- As a key member of our team, you will also have an operational role as responsible for the management and development of accounts in Northern and Central Italy, including visiting customers in the area, strengthening existing business relationships and opening new business opportunities.
- Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, your main responsibilities will include strategic business development, commercial and contractual management, and market and brand management.
Requirements:
- University degree and minimum 5 years' experience in a responsible position in sales or business development, preferably as Country Manager, in related sectors.
- Demonstrable knowledge in business project management in the contract and interior design sector (residential and hospitality).
- Excellent analytical skills and use of data for market analysis and strategic decision making, as well as corporate reporting.
