EMEA Regional Sales Engineer

As a key member of Arrow Electronics' EMEA sales team, the EMEA Regional Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving sales and delivering solutions by providing technical expertise, building strong client and partner relationships, and supporting our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities by understanding client requirements and challenges.
- Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide technical leadership during trials, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and complex demos, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Effectively communicate the value and benefits of Symantec's and Carbon Black's cybersecurity solutions.
Solution Design and Delivery:
- Work closely with clients to architect and design tailored cybersecurity solutions that address their specific needs.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and requirements documentation to support proposed solutions.
- Oversee the implementation and deployment of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring successful integration and adoption.
- Provide post-sales support and technical guidance to ensure client satisfaction and long-term success.
Partner Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to understand their offerings and collaborate on joint opportunities.
- Assist partners in technically qualifying solutions and providing the necessary support to drive sales.
- Share knowledge and best practices with partners to enhance their ability to promote and implement our solutions.
Internal Collaboration and Development:
- Work closely with product management and development teams to provide feedback on client experiences and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and deliver effective sales enablement materials and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role within the cybersecurity sector.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time in EMEA region.
- Business proficiency in Italian and English.
- Preferred:
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience working with various cybersecurity products and solutions.
- Fluency in additional European languages.
