How will you make a difference?
We are seeking a qualified Structural Integrity Inspector to join our team at a construction site in the Netherlands for a contract period, with the potential for extension. In this position, you will be tasked with assessing and confirming the correct installation of bolted connections to uphold the structural integrity and safety of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of bolted joints and connections to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, drawings, and industry standards;
- Employ specialized tools and equipment to conduct measurements, torque assessments, and non-destructive testing on bolted assemblies;
- Record all inspection activities and results in detailed reports, emphasizing any identified deficiencies or concerns;
- Work collaboratively with the site construction team, project engineers, and client representatives to troubleshoot and resolve issues;
- Maintain thorough documentation and data to support quality assurance and control initiatives;
- Actively seek opportunities for process enhancements to improve the efficiency and reliability of bolted joint installations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Structural Integrity Inspector in the industrial, oil & gas, or construction fields;
- In-depth knowledge of bolting standards, installation protocols, and quality control practices;
- Proficient in the use of torque wrenches, tensioning devices, and other specialized inspection instruments;
- Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications;
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and stakeholder management;
- Proficiency in English is essential;
- Willingness to work in a dynamic construction environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
