About the Role
As a Sales Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and revenue for our Gas Services Business Unit in Europe and Africa. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate all sales activities to achieve specific goals in diverse products, customers, and amounts based on our Business Unit Strategy.
A Snapshot of Your Day
In the department SV CD, we are responsible for servicing installed base power plant control systems, AVR, and digitalization. Your day will be filled with developing relationships with customers, identifying new opportunities, and presenting controls and digitalization solutions and service contracts for power generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities and present solutions to meet their needs.
- Influence key partners and decision-makers to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Develop tools and reports to evaluate sales trends and provide insights to management to inform annual forecasts.
- Present technical and commercial solutions to customers and negotiate contracts.
- Lead opportunities and offers for national and international markets.
- Propose consulting services for digitalization of machines or plants and improving energy efficiency to drive growth in services, maintenance, spare parts, and updates.
Requirements
- Consistent professional experience of at least 3-5 years in sales or as a proposal/bid specialist, preferably in a multinational company.
- Experience with DCS, control systems, AVR, and digitalization is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Availability for frequent business trips on a national and international basis.
- Proficiency in Italian and English, with other languages such as German being an asset.
