Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio serving the food market.
  2. Design and execute a strategic business plan to expand PerkinElmer's revenue in food testing capital equipment within your assigned territory.
  3. Manage all aspects of territory management, including prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships with food processors and testing accounts, and closing deals with new and existing customers.
  4. Establish and manage local distributors and dealers.
  5. Deliver effective seminars and presentations.
  6. Manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and successfully convert the pipeline to revenue to meet your territory sales quota.
  7. Demonstrate strong initiative and ownership of results.
  8. Stay up-to-date on PerkinElmer/Perten products and competitors' offerings, and maintain presentation materials accordingly.
  9. This role requires a willingness to travel, with 50% of travel being overnight. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is also required.
