We are currently looking for an Apparel Fit Consultant M/W to join our diverse and enthusiastic team at Rossignol.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Product Development & Sourcing Manager and collaborate closely with our softgoods teams.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and facilitating fit sessions utilizing live models and mannequins. Assess fit, proportion, and construction, while documenting and conveying fit feedback to garment suppliers.
  • Reviewing samples from initial prototypes through to pre-production phases, evaluating overall fit and communicating required enhancements or modifications to garment suppliers.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive measurement specifications and grading standards to ensure consistent fit across various product categories.
  • Working alongside garment suppliers to relay necessary pattern modifications based on fit evaluations.
  • Delivering clear and precise feedback to internal teams and garment suppliers regarding fit adjustments and corrections.
  • Interpreting and executing the design's fit objectives, ensuring performance aligns with the intended use of the garment.
  • Keeping fit standards current and staying updated on industry trends and advancements in fit technologies.

About you:

  • You possess a degree in patternmaking, apparel engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in a comparable position, ideally with skills in patternmaking and/or 3D modeling.
  • You are a team player with a strong commitment to fostering and maintaining robust relationships both internally and externally.
  • You are recognized for your meticulous attention to detail and your ability to identify and articulate fit challenges.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a good capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
