Job Summary

We are seeking an Apparel Fit Specialist to join our team at Rossignol Group. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the perfect fit of our garments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and lead fit sessions with live models and mannequins to analyze fit, balance, and construction, documenting and communicating fit comments to garment vendors.
  • Evaluate samples from initial prototypes to pre-production stages, assessing overall fit and communicating necessary improvements or changes to garment vendors.
  • Develop and maintain detailed measurement specifications and grading rules to ensure fit consistency across various product types.
  • Collaborate with garment vendors to communicate necessary pattern adjustments based on fit analysis.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback to internal teams and garment vendors regarding fit corrections and adjustments.
  • Understand and execute the design's fit intent, ensuring performance aligns with the garment's end use.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fit technologies.

Requirements

  • A degree in patternmaking, apparel engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with patternmaking and/or 3D skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and communicate fit issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a good ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
