Drive Sustainability at Digitsonly

We're seeking a dedicated professional to spearhead our sustainability efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce our environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Sustainability: Conduct lab tests and analyze results to ensure our products meet the highest sustainability standards.
  • Quality Marks and Certifications: Research and apply for prestigious certifications like EU Ecolabel and B Corp, and suggest improvements to enhance our reputation.
  • Supplier Agreements: Review and document sustainability agreements with suppliers, ensuring they meet our labor, environmental, and ethics standards.
  • Emissions Calculations: Calculate product and shipping emissions, and propose reduction strategies to minimize our impact.
  • Claims Substantiation: Refine our website communication with accurate and transparent sustainability data, showcasing our commitment to eco-friendliness.
  • Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with our company goals, driving innovation and progress.
Requirements:
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently, taking initiative and solving problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in tasks and ability to spot inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Dutch Fluency: Native Dutch speaker for effective communication and documentation.
  • B Corp Experience: Successful application for B Corp certifications in the past, showcasing expertise in sustainability.
  • 3+ Years in Sustainability: Minimum 3 years of experience in the sustainability field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to develop creative solutions for sustainability challenges, driving innovation and progress.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate sustainability initiatives, engaging stakeholders and driving results.
  • E-commerce Specialization: Experience in sustainability within the e-commerce industry, with a deep understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
