Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager for the Account Management Team in Milan for our Advertising business.

The successful candidate will lead a team composed of 6 Account Managers and will oversee the entire Hardline vertical. He/She will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and other organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, sales and people management skills, and thrive in ambiguous situations. He/She will possess strong analytical skills and be a self-starter, able to find solutions without guidance.

Internally, this role will partner closely across a number of teams including Account Executives, Retail, Product and Creative. Externally, he/she will lead and coach the team to be strategic consultants for their clients and will support them in complex client negotiations with clients and agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and work with the team to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop the team's sales skills, business acumen, and ability to generate innovative and challenging insights
  • Engage with clients supporting your team during negotiations
  • Engage with Amazon Advertising's leadership team and product/platform leadership to represent business results and advocate for customer needs;
  • Hire and develop a world-class team
  • Conduct resource management, capacity planning, and account allocation

Previous people management experience in the industry is required. A Master's degree is also necessary.
