Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager for the Account Management Team in Milan for our Advertising business.

The person will lead a team composed of one manager and around 11 Account Managers working to develop our Hardlines advertisers.

  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Develop organizational goals
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, Retail, Product and Creative teams
  • Lead and coach the team to be strategic consultants for clients
  • Support clients in complex negotiations
  • Define organizational strategy, processes, tools, and incentives to maximize ROI and accelerate growth
  • Drive team strategy execution to deliver measurable results in advertiser satisfaction, YoY revenue growth, renewal rates and operational quality metrics

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, sales and people management skills, be able to thrive in ambiguous situations and enjoy challenging revenue targets.

They will possess strong analytical skills and be a self-starter, able to find solutions without guidance.

The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience, 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or client-facing roles, with 2+ years experience in people management, experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers, high-level analytical abilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, strong negotiating skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, and an ability to deal with ambiguity.
