About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Italy Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in increasing adoption of AWS services with our customers in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote uptake of AWS services with healthcare customers across Italy
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Facilitate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline
  • Work closely with a wide matrix team (Italy and internationally) to develop and deliver compelling value propositions for your customer base
  • Work closely with external partners to extend reach & adoption
  • Travel, as necessary, to engage field teams and partners to execute initiatives

AWS's healthcare mission across the globe is to enable access and delivery of person-centered healthcare, driving improved outcomes at a lower cost by accelerating the digitization and utilization of healthcare data.

Requirements

  • Significant experience within the Healthcare sector
  • Extensive experience providing technology solutions and managing Enterprise-level Public Sector accounts
  • Proven experience with consistent sales territory growth and quota achievement
  • Fluent in Italian and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a technical discipline and/or MBA or equivalent
  • Established professional network within the government and healthcare market
  • Experience dealing with the public healthcare system both at national and regional level
  • Ability to drive strategic technology discussions at multiple levels with partners and customers
  • Cloud sales experience
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead executive level meetings
  • Excellent writing skills. The ability to author original text including detailed sales forecasts and strategy planning documents
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and provide value in a healthcare setting
