Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our customers' cloud journey and growing their knowledge of AWS cloud services and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing Customer Relationships

Develop trusting relationships with customers, understand their business needs and drivers, review service disruptions, provide monthly/quarterly metrics, and assist with pre-launch planning.

Technical Problem-Solving

Utilize technical skills to solve difficult support issues and technical challenges.

Operational Parameters and Troubleshooting

Understand operational parameters and troubleshooting process for customer issues and escalations.

Customer Advocacy

Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.

Customer Capabilities Improvement

Improve customer capabilities by running workshops, operations, and architecture reviews.

Operational Health and Efficiency

Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and driving efficiencies to mitigate risks in customer operations plans and product adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with customers across all levels from developers through to C-Suite executives and collaborate across multiple functions within AWS, such as Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, Global TAM teams, and Sales Account Managers.

Requirements

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience in technical engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional fluency in English and at least two of the following three languages: Spanish, French, Italian.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
