Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage employee payslips, time and attendance systems, and payroll-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and collaborating with HR and Finance departments.
Estimated Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per year
Location: Milan (Italy)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing employee payslips together with the external payroll service provider;
- Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees;
- Managing the employee time and attendance system and ensuring compliance with company policy;
- Maintaining employee data in the payroll system;
- Managing relations with public authorities (INPS, INAIL) and pension funds;
- Analyzing payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
- Assisting in preparing the annual Budget for personnel costs;
- Collaborating with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related matters;
- Providing support during internal and external audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Accounting Diploma;
- 5+ years of experience in payroll administration and analysis;
- Good knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices;
- Experience with payroll software and systems, including Zucchetti;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
