Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled Product Validation Engineer to join our Integrated System Product Development team. As a key member, you'll ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our AI-integrated systems through comprehensive testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute validation test plans for embedded hardware solutions, including microprocessors and power supply architecture.
  • Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing of hardware components to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Utilize testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers, for comprehensive hardware validation.
  • Build and execute software test plans and test cases for embedded systems, focusing on AI applications, firmware, and device drivers.
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing of embedded software to verify functionality, performance, and interoperability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed feedback for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide technical recommendations and solutions for product enhancements.
  • Continuously refine and optimize validation processes by integrating new tools, frameworks, or technologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Generate detailed technical reports documenting validation procedures, findings, and debugging methodologies used during the validation process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in testing and validation of embedded electronics.
  • Experience with hardware testing methodologies, including functional testing, performance testing, and reliability testing.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong knowledge of high-level testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, with specific focus on software.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as bash, C/C++, and Python, and experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with issue-tracking tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for embedded systems, such as EMC/EMI testing and safety certifications.
