As a Business Development Manager, you will lead the growth of our SuperNetwork by acquiring and onboarding small independent businesses to our platform. You will also manage a team of Field Business Developers to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Your Mission:- New business development: Identify, negotiate, and acquire strategic merchants to promote our payment solutions in the assigned area.
- Team management: Lead and support Field Business Developers, providing guidance on onboarding, training, and mentoring.
- Training and development: Train team members to ensure autonomy in technical skills and activity organization.
- Performance management: Monitor and maximize team performance through shadowing, 1:1s, and team meetings.
- Strategic planning and analysis: Track business development activities using our CRM system, analyze performance trends, and produce reports for management.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Team Leader, with a proven track record of people management and structured communication.
- Field experience and structured communication: Ability to work on the field, visiting merchants regularly, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Negotiation and organization skills: Strong negotiation skills to manage quick negotiations with small merchants and enthusiasm for acquiring new merchants.
- Analytical skills: Ability to turn data into insights and make informed decisions.
- Language proficiency and passion for FinTech: Fluency in Italian and English, with a passion for FinTech and previous experience in FinTech or Startup environments a plus.
This is a key role in driving the growth of our SuperNetwork in the Emilia Romagna region. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Field Business Developers and achieving ambitious growth targets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including meal vouchers, language platform access, company welfare budget, Stock Option Plan, short-term incentive, and tech equipment.
