Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Distal. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and presenting company products to the travel trade and key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts by meeting with clients virtually, on the phone, or during sales visits.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and support commercial requests.
- Attend conferences, trade exhibitions, and events, and present and deliver presentations on company products.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Monitor market trends, sales performance, and market potential to propose best practices and adapt sales and commercial strategies.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree related to the travel trade studies (business administration, tourism, economics, communication, or related fields).
- Professional experience in sales in the travel sector with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Airline experience will be preferred.
- Self-motivated, resilient with strong communication skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with great follow-up.
- Fluency of spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of industry distribution tools such as GDS and other analytical systems.
- IT skills and full user of MS Office programmes.
- Be available to travel within and outside the Italian territory.
- Driving license and car.
