About the Role

Celanese International Corporation is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive business growth and development in the Vamac business unit. As a key member of the global Vamac Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to drive business development initiatives to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a growth plan for Vamac in the Industrial, Consumer, Electronics, and Electrical (ICEE) markets in Europe and North America.
  • Engage with OEMs, Tier 1s, molders, and customers to gather insights on customer needs and market trends.
  • Monitor and interpret industry trends, conduct market assessments, and identify new markets and applications for Vamac.
  • Formulate value propositions for existing and potential new grades and raise potential investment needs to tap into growth opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers along the entire value chain.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive business development opportunities to commercialization.
  • Manage Vamac oversight at the current customer base and support ongoing business growth.
Requirements
  • Educational background in engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the rubber industry, preferably in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of the material selection process along the value chain of the rubber industry.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong personal presence, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent selling skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Location

Celanese's European Technical Center (ETC) in Meyrin (Geneva), Switzerland, but other locations can be considered.
