Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Support to join our team at Software & Support Media Gmbh. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess information received from Inquiry to order necessary project materials.
  • Identify customer requirements indicated in contractual technical specifications and ensure flow-down.
  • Manage and schedule drawing lists to be submitted to Customers (Vendor Document Register) in accordance with Contractual obligations.
  • Support Project Engineers in preparation, development, and follow-up of internal design activities and design/risk reviews.
  • Support Project Engineers in preparation, follow-up, and close-out of action items resulting from customer meetings (kick-off, HAZOPs, 3D model reviews).
  • Support Project Engineers in initiatives to reach quality targets during job execution and punch-list follow-up and close-out.
  • Support Project Engineers in document finalization.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering discipline, Mechanical/Aeronautic or Chemical preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plant philosophy and main components for steam turbine power generation, Petrochemical plants, and Refineries.
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Mechanical Design, System, and Auxiliaries design.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with different offices of the organization.
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead project teams with a clear thinking approach.
  • Purposeful, enthusiastic to learn project dynamics, and problem-solving oriented.
  • Ability to develop assigned tasks autonomously and be accountable for them.
