This is why we are seeking a Lead Engineer for Training Initiatives in Europe.
As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate with numerous engineers across various locations, assisting them in meeting the increasing demand for engineering expertise within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with our engineering teams throughout Europe to assess current skill sets and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and execute effective recruitment and onboarding strategies, utilizing local resources such as universities and global networks.
- Maintain and update our skills matrix while organizing relevant certification programs to enhance our engineering capabilities.
- Partner with subject matter experts to create training materials and facilitate essential training sessions.
- Monitor and support learning initiatives in real-world settings, including coaching and mentoring.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate our learning and development processes, initiating improvements as necessary.
- Embody our core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while supporting your colleagues and the organization.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within the transformers sector.
- Adept at developing talent, with international experience and strong cultural awareness.
- Background in employer branding and talent acquisition.
- Committed to attracting, nurturing, and retaining talent, including both new hires and seasoned professionals.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Skilled in networking and fostering diverse, inclusive communities.
- Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
